Thus, the occupational therapist plans, applies and supervises activity programs designed for people living with physical or mental impairments, both permanent and temporary. These activity programs are ultimately intended to improve daily life autonomy and facilitate social integration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Occupational therapy interventions favour the use of activity in all its forms (artistic, playful, work-related, domestic, etc.).<\/strong>\u00a0They play an important role in the prevention of functional problems and contribute to the promotion of health.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Occupational therapy is meant to help people of all ages, from newborns to seniors.\u00a0<\/strong>Occupational therapists can assist individuals, families, groups of individuals, community organizations or companies.
